Adidas and Bugatti have joined forces to unveil an exciting collaboration that will bring together cutting-edge technology and iconic car designs in the form of limited-edition soccer boots. In a press release on Bugatti’s website, the companies have announced that they will be auctioning off 99 pairs of these special boots through Adidas’ web3 platform.

The boots, inspired by Bugatti’s renowned car designs, will be available for sale between November 8th and 11th. Each pair of shoes will come with a digital twin, adding a unique digital element to the physical product.

Prospective buyers will have the opportunity to place bids on the boots using MoonPay, a cryptocurrency and NFT payment service. This innovative platform allows users to utilize both fiat currency and cryptocurrencies to complete transactions.

Built on the foundation of Adidas’ X Crazyfast laced boot, these limited-edition soccer boots showcase a sleek and stylish design. They come in two distinct color options – black and the iconic “Bugatti Blue.” Bugatti has stated that this shade of blue was inspired by the color of early Bugatti Grand Prix cars.

Upon the conclusion of the auction on November 11th, all winning bidders will receive an exclusive digital shoebox. This special digital shoebox can be redeemed via Adidas Collect starting from November 13th.

Adidas is not the only sportswear brand venturing into the crypto space. Other major brands, such as Nike and Puma, have also recognized the growing interest among crypto enthusiasts and introduced unique offerings that combine physical products with digital assets.
