Alleged Fraud Charges Against Pastors for INDXcoin Scam

As highlighted by Cryptonews, the US Colorado Division of Securities recently filed civil fraud charges against Eligio (Eli) and Kaitlyn Regalado for their involvement in the INDXcoin scam. The Regalados allegedly violated various provisions of the Colorado Securities Act by promoting a cryptocurrency ‘INDXcoin’ to Christian community members. Despite raising millions from investors, the token was deemed unsafe and practically worthless.

In a statement, pastor Eli Regalado claimed that divine intervention led them to create INDXcoin, promising investors significant returns. However, an auditor’s report revealed serious technical flaws in the project, which the couple chose to ignore. Their actions resulted in substantial losses for investors while funding their extravagant lifestyle.
