Investigating the JENNER Memecoin Scam

The Alleged Scam

Reality TV personality and former Olympian, Caitlyn Jenner, recently made shocking revelations about being deceived by an alleged hacker named Sahil Arora concerning the release of her JENNER memecoin.

In a post on X late Monday, Jenner expressed her frustration, saying, “F-CK SAHIL. He scammed us! BIG TIME!” Crypto investigator Roxo stated that Arora acted as a “middleman” between the token and Jenner, ultimately being behind the JENNER launch and executing dubious transactions.

Roxo claims that after Jenner endorsed the coin, Arora swiftly “dumped all the tokens from the deployer wallet and more he had sniped on burner wallets.” This led to suspicions that the team behind JENNER was ensnared in a scam without their knowledge.

Celebrity Involvement

Jenner, despite the alleged fraud, continues to promote the memecoin enthusiastically, with its market cap hitting $22 million by Tuesday morning. Reacting to concerns of potential hacking during the coin’s launch, Jenner’s assistant, Sophia Hutchins, confirmed in a video that her account was indeed secure.

American rapper Rich The Kid was another victim of Arora’s schemes, partnering with him to launch the RICH token using Solana memecoin creator Pump.fun. Rich The Kid later accused Arora of deception, asserting that Arora had executed a pump-and-dump tactic by dumping funds into his account and then severing communication.

Jenner responded to the situation, indicating that Arora might face consequences for his actions, expressing, “I bet he won’t be launching many celebs coins again based on the conversations I’ve been having.”

In a Decrypt interview, Arora refuted the scam allegations as “dumb B.S.,” leaving uncertainty about the potential legal repercussions for all involved parties, including Arora, Jenner, and Rich The Kid.
