Cryptocurrency Derivatives Trading Platform Bitget’s New CEO Gracy Chen

Gracy Chen’s Appointment as CEO of Bitget

Cryptocurrency derivatives trading platform Bitget has appointed Gracy Chen as its new CEO, succeeding Sandra Lou. Chen, who previously served as the managing director of Bitget, has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and development.

Before taking on the role of CEO, Chen led Bitget in its market expansion, business strategy, and corporate development. Her leadership resulted in a significant increase in Bitget’s user base, propelling the exchange to a top position among crypto exchanges in terms of trading volumes for crypto derivatives.

“I’m extremely honored to step into the role of CEO at Bitget,” said Chen in a statement to Cryptonews. “With the foundation we’ve built and an incredible team, Bitget has emerged as a leading crypto platform.”

Chen emphasized the importance of continuous innovation in product offerings and creating value for Bitget’s 25 million users. She expressed her excitement about leading Bitget’s global expansion efforts and shaping the future of digital finance.

Remarks on the Crypto Market and Bitcoin

In a recent podcast with Cryptonews, Chen commented on the current state of the crypto market, noting that it is currently in a bull run:

“There’s no doubt we’re in a bull run right now. I would say 30% to 40% in the bull market.”

Chen also highlighted the significance of Bitcoin’s price action, comparing it to October 2023. She pointed out that Bitcoin’s price has doubled since then and discussed the impact of recent events on the market, such as the halving:

“The recent halving event has had a notable impact on the market. The decrease from the all-time high may be attributed to this event,” explained Chen.
